<para>Certainly not what I was expecting.</para>

<para>I think (though God knows I can't be absolutely certain, what with all that crazy Internet crap that goes on) that the Navy has decidedly given me the finger, and went ahead and told me to take those 32 grand I wanted to dump on them (from GW) and shove it up my ass.</para>

<para>And then it'd be like a rectal thermometer. Just like in <i>Man on Fire</i>.</para>

<para>I have a prom date. I'm very excited about it; howver, I'm also pointedly worried. I don't know what <i>exactly</i> the situation is with this whole thing; there's talk of an 8-person, 10-person table and Vic has already "planned" his table -- all this results in me not sitting where I'd like for prom.</para>

<para>It almost reminds me of last year's Junior Prom. Not that it was necessarily a bad thing, but I was just very upended in what I had going on afterwards. Originally, it was nothing, so certainly hanging out at ... <i>[tries to remember name]</i> God... I'm getting too tired for this.</para>

<para>That -- that was a bad diversion of thought. So I'm going to continue it. The night certainly didn't end up too bad (although there was 0 excitement, not exactly to be wondered at, but I'll never know...) though Vic did have his little thing going down shindig to the City. He might have been overdone a bit as far as the whole "food poisoning" thing went, but... eh, whatever. 'Tis in the past.</para>

<para>Let me just focus on the good in my life. APs are over in just a few short weeks, I'm going to prom, and I am happy. Indubitibly, in fact.</para>

                    <para>
Finally, a work to call my own.
		</para>
                    <para>
After five long months of task, I can finally, thruthfully say that this creation is all mine, baby. It is the culmination of a fusion between PHP, XML, XSL and CSS. Glorious, glorious perfection to behold. Browsers view the simple HTML, but the craftsmanship that went into it is nothing short of a miracle.
		</para>
                    <para>
This was not simple, by any means of the imagination. Three tries of the same material all led to one mistake along the line, but this prototype has success written in it (right there, you see?) and is version 0.1 of wirlwind; codename: mystral.
		</para>
                    <para>
What is mystral? well, for starters, it's a slight derivative of the word mistral, or a cold northern wind. Barring the fact that it has anything to do with Europe (or France for that matter) it is simply a name for namesake; newer versions will recieve newer names. I was not nearly so witty as I will be for future versions.
		</para>
                    <para>
I've still to create a commenting feature (which may be highly unlikely given this was created with XML and not MySQL) as well as some other features for my own well-being, not the least of which being a PHP script for updating on the fly. Perhaps mystral will evolve into some sort of community blog.
		</para>
                    <para>
For now, however, this is what is here: mystral. Version 0.1 of a (suggestively) strong development line. Brought to you by e0N|dev.
